After a heated discussion between Grisso Illsley and Cairone Silcott of the Pecka Agudelo INC group, all sides settled on agreeing about the most important aspects of the parks industry at large
“I’m really impressed by the presentation Lagrimas Lapoint did about up-and-coming parks businesses. The reasoning was solid, plenty of detail was provided, and some of the conclusions were very provocative,” raved Codispoti Sebben, VP of Marketing for the Laine Cushenberry Corporate body. “Wow!!!”, said Autrano Cua, a first time conference goer, “I’m so thankful that many parks industry heavyweights took time out to come and talk to us. I’ve learned a lot of new things, found out industry news, and was able to network successfully with others who have jobs similar to mine.” Ruland Kirch, who spoke on the parks industry news panel, also has a prominent blog online. Ruland Kirch offered some fresh points of view from recent blog entries and website submissions. This was a refreshing review of the parks market, and was very informative. Some area parks commercial advertising firms also benefitted from conference attendance. One business owner stated that “I’ve got double the usual number of orders since the conferenced started… This means our company will probably have a surplus at the end of the year, and will allow us to continue strong into the next quarter!” Parks conference goers, fans, and a few dignitaries from other countries all enjoyed the keynote speech by Malika Chiarmonte, director of the Schwarm China INC company. The speech brought the crowd to its feet, with an ovation that lasted for nearly 6 minutes. The following speaker, Ruth Freemantle, a long time conference support, echoed much of what was said during the key-note, along with a few other important ideas. Algire Thronton, a well known parks marketer and former CEO of the Paige Lambros INC firm, had a great panel discussion on the legalities of parks trade abroad. Paige Lambros spoke briefly on current events, and then opened up the floor for Q & A from the audience. Mayor Marcie Divlio, who spearheaded the original parks committee that brought the conference to town, spoke joyfully about the boom for local business: “Restaraunts, Night Clubs, and the mall have all benefitted greatly. Local retail sales are up nearly %50, and restaurants have nearly all sold out for the next week and a half!” Many of this year’s best parks questions did not come from the crowd, but from a slew of online website forums. Forums have become increasingly popular and server as watchdogs over the many parks industry providers. Furthermore, they serve as a great point of reference for people with questions and industry newbies.
